Refund Policy

How payments, cancellations and refunds are handled on retainers, projects and media spend.

01What this covers

This policy applies to payments made to Infinite Media for services. Where a signed proposal or agreement sets out different commercial terms, that document takes precedence over this page.

02Advances and booking

An advance confirms a booking and reserves the team's time. It is refundable in full if you cancel before work starts. Once work has started, the advance is applied against work already carried out and any remaining balance is refunded.

03Media and platform spend

Money passed on to an advertising platform — Google, Meta, a cable network, an exchange or any other media owner — is not ours to return once it has been spent. Any budget you have paid us that has not yet been committed is refunded, or credited to the next cycle if you prefer.

04Retainers

Monthly retainers can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. The current month is worked and billed in full; nothing is billed after the notice period ends. Retainer fees for a month already delivered are not refundable.

05Projects and milestones

Project work is billed against milestones. A milestone that has been delivered and approved is not refundable. If you cancel mid-milestone, we invoice for the work completed to that point and refund the balance.

06By service

How a cancellation is settled depends on what was bought. These read alongside the service-specific terms on the Terms & Conditions page.

Website Development & Tech

Projects run on 50% in advance and 50% on delivery. The advance is refundable in full if you cancel before work begins. Once it has begun, we invoice the stage reached and refund whatever of the advance is left over; where the work done exceeds the advance, the difference is payable.

The closing 50% is due on completion and is not refundable once the build has been delivered and demonstrated to you.

SEO and SMO packages

Packages are bought and delivered by the month. A month whose work has been carried out — content produced, calendar delivered, optimisations shipped — is billed in full and is not refundable, whether or not you published or approved it.

Cancelling stops the next cycle. Creatives or deliverables allotted to a month and left unused expire with that month; they are neither carried forward nor refunded.

Digital Marketing & PPC

The management fee for a month in which campaigns were run is not refundable. Where a campaign ran for part of a month, a period of 15 days or more is treated as a full month for billing, and a shorter period is charged pro rata — the balance is refunded or credited.

Unspent advertising budget sitting with us is returned or carried to the next cycle, whichever you ask for. Budget already spent in a platform auction cannot be recovered.

Cable TV Advertising

Spend committed to a network for booked slots is not refundable once the network's cancellation window has closed. Amounts we still hold and have not committed are returned in full.

AI Video Creation

A video that has been delivered in the agreed cut, ratio and language is not refundable. Cancelling mid-production is settled against the stage reached — script, storyboard, generation or post — and the balance is refunded.

07Not satisfied after revisions

For creative work — Social Media Optimisation and AI Video Creation — if you have been through three rounds of revision within the agreed brief and are still not happy with the result, you can appeal for a refund of the fee for that piece of work. Write to us as set out in "How to request one" below, with the brief and the three rounds of feedback, and we will review it before deciding.

08What is not refundable

Work already delivered or approved; media spend already placed; third-party costs we have paid on your behalf, including licences, stock, fonts, domains, hosting and subscriptions; and any fee for a service that has been completed as specified — except where it qualifies for the revision-based appeal above.

09How to request one

Email digital@infinitemedia.in with the invoice number and what you are asking for, within 7 days of the payment in question. We will respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds are processed within 10 to 14 working days, to the account or instrument the payment came from.

10Disputes

If something is not right, tell us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — in almost every case it is faster to resolve directly, and we would rather fix the work than argue about the invoice.

11Changes

This policy may be revised. The version posted here, with the date at the top, applies to payments made after that date.
